Abstract:Sound-absorbing and flame-retardant paper was prepared from basalt fibers and coniferous fibers through wet process, supplemented by binder and flame retardant. The effects of basalt fiber dispersion, wet paper dryness, binder and flame retardant dosage on the properties of sound-absorbing and flame-retardant paper were studied. It was found that the dispersity of basalt fibers reaches the best when the dosage of dispersant was 0.006%. Under the optimal preparation conditions, the binder and flame retardant content of the sound absorbing flame retardant paper were 14.9% and 11.63%, respectively. In addition, the tensile strength of paper sheet of 15.5N/15mm, the porosity of 75.60%, and the carbonization length of 43 mm, the flame retardant effect reaches B1 level flame retardant standard, and the highest sound absorption coefficient of 0.84, which meets the new building decoration materials for environmental protection, decorative, flame retardancy and sound-absorbing properties of the higher requirements. |
